Tri-Peak Challenge Backpack - Aug 20-21

Take the Tri-Peak Challenge in the beautiful San Gorgonio Wilderness and summit San Bernardino, East San Bernardino, and Anderson Peaks. This trip will begin off Hwy 38 (back way to Big Bear) and take the Forsee Creek Trail towards John's Meadow to the San Bernardino Peak Trail to San Bernardino Peak. After reaching all three summits and covering 11.6 miles, we'll camp at Trail Fork Springs at 10440 ft. Day 2 will be 7 miles, down hill. One 10 mile hike towards Hiking Merit Badge will be completed.

Philmont Information Meeting

All scouts and their parents that are a candidates to be part of our 2012 crew are invited to a Philmont Informational meeting Sunday, August 14th at 6:00pm.

Troop Meeting-Monday August 1st

This Troop meeting will be held indoors at the church on Monday August 1st, the meeting will still start at 6:30.

All scouts should be in Class A uniforms.

There will be a power point presentation with pictures from Camp Kern, we will also be handing out awards from camp.

The Troop will be awarding any merit badges or Rank advancements earned before Camp Kern.

White Dragons you have set up so make sure you show up early, the room should be auditorium style. Spartans you have flag, so be prepared for that. Blackhawks you have clean up, so make sure you stay behind for that duty.

Citizenship in the Community - Session 2 - Registration Now CLOSED

Participants will be determined based on rank and/or registration date. To register please go to Event Registration.

Session 2 will commence with a Laguna Niguel City Council visit on August 16. This will satisfy requirement 3a. Scouts are expected to meet at City Hall on La Paz Rd. at no later than 6:30pm. A few Scouts will conduct the Opening Ceremony for the City Council meeting.
