Miracles for Kids Spring Baskets

Posted on Apr 14 2012 - 4:31pm

On Saturday, 31 March, 5 Scouts from Troop 772 participated in the Spring Baskets of Miracles 2012.  This community service event hand assembles baskets filled with Easter treats, toys, books and household supplies to over 200 CHOC Children’s families throughout Southern California.  The boys worked diligently and respectfully for 3 hours filling, wrapping and then sorting the baskets in the proper delivery areas to be picked up and delivered the next week.
Some reflections from the boys:  “This was a fun event because we got to hang out with our friends and help people at the same time”, Raccoon Patrol Leader, Mason Reed.
